Apply for an account online by pressing the "Open an Account" button above. BrixDirect products are “online only” products and can only be opened online. These products require use of automated telephone banking, e-statements, and the option of using Internet Banking. Once your account has been opened, in order to reach customer support you must call 877-772-7211, email info@brixdirect.com, or visit the customer service portal. Please note that “walk-in” customer support is offered by our Branch, but is limited to only a specific set of services, such as receiving information on your accounts/CDs including balance and maturity date. You can open a Cross River account today by visiting our branch at 885 Teaneck Road, Teaneck NJ or by calling 877-55CRB55.

Once your account is open, you will receive two welcome packages via email. You will receive the first package approximately 1 business day after your application is approved. The following business day you will receive a second email. This will contain your Certificate, instructions on how to enroll in online banking (your account number is on the top of the certificate and also highlighted in red on the Setting Up Online Banking Access page), an ACH authorization form to be completed if you would like your monthly interest sent to you via ACH rather than having it deposited into the CD account, and a Beneficiary Designation form.

You can add a joint owner during account opening or you can request a form that you will need to complete through our Help button on the bottom right hand corner of BrixDirect.com. Once you click on the help button a contact form will pop up.

As part of account opening, you can fund your account through linking an existing bank account by signing into that bank’s online banking (this is included as one of the steps when opening your CD) or you can enter the routing number and account number of the account you would like to fund from manually (again this is an option when opening your CD). The only method to fund your CD is via ACH. Please note that at this time you must deposit $50,000 or more to fund a BrixDirect CD.

For CDs with terms of 3, 6, 9 months or 1-year the fee you may incur will equal 91 days interest on the amount withdrawn subject to penalty. For CDs with terms of greater than 1 year, the fee you may incur will equal 182 days interest on the amount withdrawn subject to penalty. (In certain circumstances the law permits or may require the waiver of the early withdrawal penalty).

The CD will automatically renew. A maturity notice will be mailed approximately 30 days prior to your maturity date. You need to contact info@brixdirect.com prior to maturity if you would like to close out the CD at maturity and have the funds sent to you via ACH or check, even if you have interest being sent to you via ACH.

Yes, you will need to complete one CD. Then, you should go back to https://brixdirect.com/, select the term of the new CD you want and click the apply now button. On the screen titled “Let’s Get Started”, click the Log In button highlighted in blue on the right side of the screen. Enter the email address you used to open your first CD and you will get a verification number via email. You can use this same process to open as many CDs as you’d like.

Check your spam / junk email to ensure it did not go there in error. Request a different code, if you request a code multiple times, you may be locked out of the application and required to start the process from the beginning with a different email address.
